This one day conference - September 21, 2018 - will focus on building your expertise to provide simulation using best practices to enhance healthcare education and improve patient safety outcomes.

Our guest speakers are members of SimUAB® (The University of Alabama at Birmingham). Their team approach will cover all aspects of simulation curriculum design, pre-briefing, simulation techniques, debriefing and technical applications. Multiple workshop opportunities will provide participants with individual focused experience.

SimUAB® is an internationally accredited simulation program whose team provides simulation experiences spanning the health schools and health system at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. SimUAB® represents the collective output of the UAB Office of Interprofessional Simulation for Innovative Clinical Practice in faculty development, simulation design, and program implementation materials and methods.
