Accreditation

All participants are required to sign attendance rosters at the beginning of the day. A certificate of completion will be provided to all activity participants based on completion of the program evaluation and documentation of actual attendance time.


Physicians: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the University of Kansas Medical Center Office of Continuing Medical Education, Johnson County Community College and Kansas City Regional Simulation Alliance. The University of Kansas Medical Center Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The KU Medical Center Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Education Accreditation (CNE)

Sponsored by Johnson County Community College, all participants are required to sign attendance roster at the beginning of the day. A certificate of completion will available at the end of the day of the conference. Health and Human Services at Johnson County Community College is approved as a provider of continuing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.

Determination of credit is 6.25 contact hours.

Kansas Board of EMS approval is pending for Continuing Education.

Participants must sign in and out at the end of the day.
