The conference is a gathering of assessment professionals and community college leadership from across the Midwest region. The day will include both plenary and break-out sessions with presentations from both regional and national leadership.

Designing strong assessment activities at the program, course or campus level is dependent on knowing what you want to learn about your students. This is accomplished with writing a good assessment research question. Join us at this pre-conference workshop as Dr. Sheri Barrett, director of the Office of Outcomes Assessment at Johnson County Community College, and Melissa Giese, director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Metropolitan Community College – Kansas City, share with participants, hands on activities geared to defining assessment initiatives on your campus.
