Community Engagement
New Beginnings at JCCC: Vision, mission and values
Johnson County Community College is committed as an institution to community partnerships and stewardship. Community engagement is one of the goals listed on the college’s strategic plan.
We encourage and support students, faculty and staff who volunteer in community activities and engage in service learning.
Community Engagement activities are projects planned by an individual or a work group at the college that are intended to benefit nonprofit organizations. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to volunteer for, participate in or contribute to any of these projects. Projects may include programs, events, runs/walks, drives or collections, or holiday adopt-a-family efforts.
