Reserved Care is used when you need a routine schedule for your child every week for a minimum of four consecutive weeks. You will pay for the program whether your child attends or not. Qualifications for using reserved care are provided in the HCDC Parent Handbook.
Extended Care is used when requesting time before or after your scheduled program or when requesting time only between the hours of 6:30 a.m. - 8 a.m. and/or 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Occasional Care is used when your schedule is irregular and sometimes unpredictable. The daily and part day rates are higher, and you are not guaranteed that there will be an opening for your child. You will pay for the time that you schedule. More information on occasional care is available in the HCDC Parent Handbook.
Semester Reserved Care: Three programs are offered Tuesday and Thursday; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; or a full week during the following times:
- Full-day program from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Morning part-day from 8 a.m. – Noon
- Afternoon part-day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
You will need to enroll each semester you require our services. Sometime during the semester, notification of when applications are due for the following semester will be made. Unfortunately there is no guarantee that space will be available for everyone wishing to re-enroll. Names will be put into a lottery and space allotted based on the order drawn. Semester Reserved Care Fees: A non-refundable application fee is required each semester you enroll in semester reserved care. Paying the application fee does not guarantee enrollment. Program fees are posted annually. More information is available in the HCDC Parent Handbook.
Year-round Reserved Care Enrollment: Year-round care is reserved for the center’s open hours with a maximum attendance of 10 hours per day every day the center is open. You may enroll at any time to begin year-round care if space is available but you will need to re-enroll each fall semester you require our services. Fall 2014 Enrollment
Please fill out the forms below and either mail, fax or drop the completed forms by the Hiersteiner Child Development Center. All forms will be available Monday, April 21. All forms and the application fee will need to be received by the following dates for the each group to participate in their enrollment phase.
Enrollment forms and application fee are due by:
- Friday, May 2 to participate in the JCCC student and employee phase
- Friday, May 9 to participate in the JCCC employee relative phase
- Friday, May 16 to participate in the JCCC community phase
