National Championships
Johnson County Community College has a great winning tradition in intercollegiate athletics. Cavalier athletic teams have won a total of 10 national titles in school history. Nine of those 10 championship have come this decade including JCCC’s most recent title in 2009 by the men’s basketball program, their second in team history. Cavalier teams have won four national titles in women’s half marathon, and one each in women’s cross country, women’s basketball, women’s marathon and volleyball. JCCC’s 10 total championships are third highest total of the 19 programs in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
