Meet Casey Wallace

As the campus visit coordinator, I am responsible for planning campus visits at the college. Along with organizing group and individual visits and tours. I supervise the JCCC Cav leaders and update the JCCC Facebook pages. You are welcome to come and visit me to discuss your future at JCCC. I will answer your general questions and introduce you to the processes on campus such as admission, financial aid, scholarships. If you you have questions about programs and other opportunities, I can help direct you to the appropriate areas and contacts to make sure that your questions are all answered.

You can contact me by phone or email with general questions. You are encouraged to make an appointment with Mysti or myself if you will be visiting campus so that we can provide full attention to your questions and help you reach your goals.

I have worked in JCCC admissions for seven years. My bachelor of science degree is from Northwest Missouri State University in public administration which I received in 2003 . In 2007 I received my master’s of Science degree in higher education administration is from the University of Kansas.

As a recruitment specialist, I organize off-campus recruitment and events. My visits include semi-annual high schools visits as well as work with community businesses and organizations to introduce and promote the college and offer admission information. My audiences include students of all ages and I often assist them to begin the process in higher education.

I am also involved in various campus mentoring programs to assist students with the transition into college. Often, this mentoring includes guidance into the workforce or transferring to other institutions for bachelor’s degrees or other programs.

I have worked at JCCC for almost four years. In 2003, I received a bachelor of art degree and a master's of science in 2004 from Pittsburg State University.
