Summer 2012 Academic Calendar

International and Immigrant students should see the International Student Calendar for additional dates and deadlines for I-20 applicants.

18: New and readmitted students are encouraged to apply by this date to ensure enrollment by the start of the summer semester.
28: Memorial Day holiday. College offices closed.
29: Payment deadline - 5 p.m. (more)
Enrollment will be closed for fee payment processing.
30: Web enrollment reopens at 12:01 a.m.

1: Credit enrollment for Brown & Gold members begins at 8 a.m.
1: Enrollment Reminder: Students may not enroll on or after the first day a course begins.
4: First day of 8-week and first 4-week session of summer school.
6: Last day to drop a first 4-week course and receive a refund. (Drop/Audit Schedule)
11: Last day to drop an 8-week course and receive a refund.
11: Last day to drop a first 4-week course without a withdrawal "W" on the student's permanent record. Deadline is 11 p.m.
15: Application deadline for summer graduation. (Graduation Application)
15: Last day to drop an 8-week course without a withdrawal "W" on the student's permanent record.
22: Last day to withdraw from a first 4-week course with a withdrawal "W" on the student's permanent record.
22: Last day to request a pass/fail grade option for a first 4-week course.
28: Last day of first 4-week session of summer school.

2: First day of second 4-week session.
4: Independence Day holiday. Classes not in session. College closed.
5: Last day to drop a second 4-week course and receive a refund. (Drop/Audit Schedule)
9: Last day to drop a second 4-week course without a withdrawal "W" on the student's permanent record.
16: Last day to withdraw from an 8-week course with a withdrawal "W" on the student's permanent record.
16: Last day to request a pass/fail grade option for an 8-week course.
20: Last day to withdraw from a second 4-week course with a withdrawal "W" on the student's permanent record.
20: Last day to request a pass/fail grade option for second 4-week course.
26: Last day of summer session. Final exams are held on the last day of each course unless otherwise specified by the instructor. (Due to the length of the final exam for some courses, students may be required to attend class on the Friday following the last day of the session to take their final exam.)
27: Final grades entered online by professors by 5 p.m.
31: Grades available to students by noon on the Web.
