Academic Calendar Fall 2011

International and Immigrant students should see the International Student Calendar for additional dates and deadlines for I-20 applicants.

18-20: Fall pre-enrollment for students who have applied for fall 2011 graduation and specific career program students
21: Open enrollment begins for fall 2011 classes begins at 8 a.m.
22: Enrollment for fall CNA courses (AVHO 102) begins at 8 a.m.

29: New/readmit students - apply by this date to ensure enrollment by the start of fall semester.

2: Staff on 10-month contract return.
15: Staff on 9-month contract return.
15: Payment deadline - 5 p.m. (more)
15-19: Professional Development Days for faculty.
16: Web enrollment reopens at 12:01 a.m.
19: Credit enrollment for Brown & Gold members begins at 8 a.m.
19: Enrollment deadline: students may not enroll on or after the first day a course begins
22: First day of fall 2011 semester.
29: Last day to drop a full-semester course and receive a 100 percent refund. (Drop/Audit Schedule)

5: Labor Day holiday. College closed.
19: Last day to drop a full semester course without a "W" on the student's permanent record. Deadline is 11 p.m. (Drop/Audit Schedule)
19: Transcripts required from other colleges and schools are due.

15: Last day to withdraw from a full semester course with a withdrawal "W" on student's permanent record. (Drop/Audit Schedule)
15: Last day to request a pass/fail option for a full semester course.
23: Classes not in session. College offices closed.
24-25: Thanksgiving Day holiday. College closed.
26: Saturday classes will not meet.
27: Sunday classes will not meet.
