Web Print (Wireless Printing)
You must be authenticated to the jccc-wifi wireless network before you can print from a laptop.
You will need to know your MyJCCC login name and password, or your PaperCut guest user ID and password to continue.
NOTE: You will not see a preview display of what the print will cost nor have the option to cancel the print job once submitted. Know the number of pages in the document and the cost before you send the print job.
- Launch a web browser and logon to jccc-wifi with your MyJCCC or Guest Wireless username and password credentials.
- Go to http://papercut.jccc.edu to access the PaperCut web login screen.
- At the PaperCut login screen enter your MyJCCC or PaperCut Guest username and password and click Login. Your personal PaperCut web page will open to the Summary page.
- From the left column, click Web Print.
- Click Submit a Job>>
- Select which printer you wish to print to then click 2. Print Options >>
NOTE: Actual printers will be different than pictured. Be sure you have selected the proper printer!
- Confirm the number of copies you wish to print on the Options page.
- Click Upload Document>>
- Click Browse and select the file you wish to upload and print. The file must be saved in one of the file extension formats pictured below:
- Click once on Upload and Complete>> and your file will print to the printer you selected.
NOTE: You will not see a preview display of what the print will cost nor have the option to cancel the print job once submitted. Know the number of pages in the document and the cost before you send the print job.
- The print will be recorded and summarized under the Recent print Jobs tab.
Supported file formats:
PDF
Microsoft Office Excel 2007 XLS, XLSX, etc.
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 PPT, PPTX, etc.
Microsoft Office Word 2007 DOC, DOCX, etc.
Microsoft XPS
Note: If you need to print an article from one of the Library databases, select the Download as PDF option if available. If that is not an option, download the document as full text or as a Word document if possible. As a final choice, you can highlight all text, and copy and paste the content into a Word document for printing purposes. Please contact the library staff with questions.
