Credit Class Enrollment

Following are the instructions for enrolling for credit classes for brown & gold members. The Credit Steps to Enrollment will provide additional information about admission, counseling, financial aid, testing, payment or books. However, if you are a non-degree seeking student, you may not need to follow all of the credit steps to enrollment.

• New brown & gold students, or those who have not attended in the last two years, must complete a new JCCC application for admission and a new brown & gold application.
• The start date for brown & gold enrollment is listed in the academic calendar for each semester. Brown & gold students who enroll on or after this date will not be charged tuition for their courses.
• As a brown & gold club member, you may not enroll in in advance, drop the class and then re-enroll on the enrollment date. If you do enroll in advance, you will be charged the full tuition. Audited classes are not eligible for brown & gold reduced tuition.
• Brown & gold students may enroll online by logging in to MyJCCC, in person on the second floor of the Student Center, or by calling 913-469-2330.

Continuing Education Class Enrollment

Many of the continuing education Classes (non-credit) offer discounts to brown & gold Members. The discount is located in the continuing education catalog at the end of the course description in parenthesis. If you are viewing the classes in the Continuing Education Class Search, the discount is located in the column titled, "More Information" and will list the brown & gold discount if available.

• Enrolling in continuing education classes is easy and convenient. Refer to the Enroll link in the left navigation on our site for instructions to enroll for either credit or continuing education classes.
