Why did you choose JCCC? JCCC is providing me with an affordable and quality education. It has a great reputation.
What clubs or extracurricular activities are you involved in? For my first semester, I mainly focused on my classes and doing well academically. However this semester, I’m looking forward to amplifying my leadership skills through CLDP and joining the International Club.
What is your advice for future students? The sky’s the limit at JCCC. Don’t be bashful coming into college. This institution has done a phenomenal job in paving the way for upcoming students through the countless student activities. Take full advantage of the resource centers — that includes free tutoring; the clubs and organizations that lay the foundation for financial, academic and social support; as well as the faculty that are beyond eager to help
What is your favorite part of JCCC? I love the strong support system all over campus, but overall I enjoy the people that make up JCCC. My favorite place on campus is the Career Development Center (CDC). Coming to college uncertain about what you're destined to do for the rest of your life can be very scary, but the CDC patiently and intently helped me embrace my personality and steered me towards a suitable major.
