Studying: After finishing my Associate of Arts degree here at JCCC, I plan on pursuing a major in Liberal Arts at UMKC.

Why did you choose JCCC?

I chose JCCC for a multitude of reasons: the wide variety of academic courses offered, the small class sizes, the athletic programs, and the community environment. I couldn't imagine beginning my college career anywhere else but JCCC!

What clubs or extracurricular activities are you involved in?

This will be my second year on the Track and Field team at JCCC, and I am also looking forward to meeting many new people as a student ambassador.

What is your advice for future students?

My advice would be to get involved in any way you can, whether that be through a sport, club, or job. It's a great place to make connections with both staff and students. Also, take advantage of all of the amazing resources that are offered on campus.

What is your favorite part of JCCC?

I love the community feel of JCCC. No matter which way you turn, you'll find a friendly face wanting to help guide you to success. I also like the small class sizes, because you really get to know your professor, and they genuinely care about the success of their students.
