Admission Requirements for Degree-Seeking Students

Degree-seeking students are planning to earn a certificate or degree from JCCC.

Degree-seeking students must supply all previous college transcripts.  If you cannot supply transcripts, please apply as a Non-Degree-Seeking student.  Please note that only degree seeking students are eligible for financial aid, scholarships and Veteran’s benefits.

Complete the Online Admission Application. After your notification of admission, you will be able to complete the remaining credit steps to enrollment.

Selective Admission
Selective admission programs have a limited number of openings each year and have specific entry-level admission requirements that must be met before selection for admission to the program.

Cooperative Programs
Missouri residents can enroll in selected career programs at JCCC and pay Metropolitan Community College - Kansas City rates. Johnson County residents can enroll in selected career programs at Metropolitan Community College - Kansas City and pay JCCC rates.
