Emergency Messages and Campus Safety
Emergency Messages to Students
To have an emergency message delivered to a student, call the office of the vice president of Student Success and Engagement at at 913-469-8500, ext. 3199, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by calling 913-469-8500, ext. 4112, after regular hours. If the vice president determines that the request is directly related to education reasons or presents a health or safety emergency, the vice president or his representative, with support from the JCCC Police Department, will decide the best method for contacting the students.
The Johnson County Community College Campus Police Department, located in the Carlsen Center building, provides service 24 hours a day.
To reach police for assistance with an on-campus emergency, call 4111 from a campus phone or call their direct line at 913-469-2500.
