Exams/Quizzes:  There will be 3 in-class exams, 3 quizzes and a final exam. The lowest quiz score will be dropped.

Assignments: A dietary analysis project and various in-class assignments will make up the homework portion of the grade. Assignments are due at the beginning of class on due date.

Homework Policy

Make-up Policy: No late assignments will be accepted except in the case of an emergency.  Students who know they will be absent on the day of a quiz or exam must make prior arrangements with the instructor. Students who must miss a quiz or exam due to an emergency such as illness or family emergency should notify the instructor as soon as possible. Make-up exams and quizzes will be given at the discretion of the instructor.

Attendance Policy

Students are expected to attend and participate in class. Most class periods will have an exam, quiz or in-class assignment that students will not be able to make up without prior approval or in emergency situations.

Availability

Available by phone or email throughout the week. On campus Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
