You cannot succeed without doing homework, but I rarely collect it.

Attendance Policy

If you miss exams and lab experiments without attending class, I have the option to withdraw you.

You can see me right before or right after class. (Most days, I will be available until about noon.) Of course, you can contact me by email.

Additional Information

I have been teaching this class for a long time. If you are willing to study, I can help you be successful. Don’t be afraid of the class, particularly if you had a bad experience in the past. There is no magic in learning chemistry. Study enough to succeed. If your time is limited, be sure to limit outside activities that are optional, like Facebook time, Twitter, etc.

Remember, you want success and some of the people you communicate with have quite different goals, particularly if they are not in college.
