Resource Use

Textbooks: The textbook and lab manual are required. I also supply several supplementary resources throughout the semester, including handouts and links to web resources through D2L.

Online homework: Assignments and quizzes may be administered and submitted online through D2L.

Assessment

Assessments in BIOL 121 include online quizzes, in-class exams, small-group presentations, and lab assignments.

Homework Policy

Late work will only be accepted with an excused absence.

Attendance Policy

No points are awarded for attendance, but your presence is required to earn full credit for participation. The lectures and class activities are designed to help you internalize the numerous terms and concepts that you will be expected to understand. Regular attendance is strongly encouraged.
