Jay M. Nadlman received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1985, where he served as Comments Editor of the Law Review. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the Missouri Bar.

Assistant Professor Nadlman joined Johnson County Community College as an adjunct professor in 2007. He is currently teaching Legal Analysis and Writing, Introduction to Legal Technology, and Criminal Litigation. Prior to joining JCCC he served as the Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Kansas City Southern. He began his legal career as a trial attorney working for Union Pacific Railroad Company in 1985.
