Holly Manlove is not only a graduate of but also an instructor in the JCCC paralegal program.
"I've always been interested in the legal field, but after college, I decided law school wasn't for me," she said. "My husband suggested the paralegal field and I thought it would be a good fit. I got my associate's degree at JCCC and really liked the school and the instructors. The paralegal program is approved by the American Bar Association, so I knew it had to be a top program in order to have that impressive distinction. The quality of the faculty and courses is outstanding. The instructors care about the students and do everything they can to help them succeed. There is a wide variety of courses and the students learn very practical information."
Holly is currently a senior paralegal for a large pharmaceutical company.
"I draft contracts, so I'm constantly using legal writing skills," she said. "I am also involved in any litigation we have. This takes attention to detail and the ability to be highly organized, which are things I learned while taking classes in the paralegal program."
