Obtain training under a member chef of the American Culinary Federation and learn the art, technique, chemistry and creativity great chefs must master. You'll learn in formal classroom settings and in state-of-the-art kitchens with an emphasis on food preparation, baking and garde manger (cold-food preparation).
Thanks for supporting our JCCC Culinary Team through Crowd Funding. We have exceeded our goal!
As the public's interest in food continues to grow, so does the demand for trained chefs. JCCC has one of the first programs in the United States to receive American Culinary Federation Educational Institute accreditation. Food preparation is a key focus, but you’ll also receive a solid background in management, with courses in supervisory management, hospitality accounting, menu planning, purchasing, beverage control and advanced hospitality management during the three-year program. The chef apprenticeship program at JCCC is sponsored by the American Culinary Federation, the Greater Kansas City Chefs Association and the U.S. Department of Labor.
