Emergency Medical Science
If you’d like a challenging, rewarding career in emergency care, consider the emergency medical science program at JCCC. Discover our progressively intense options for learning the skills of emergency medical science; each step prepares you for certification exams and successful practice as an EMT or paramedic.
Begin with the EMS First Responder course, and then move to the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program. From there, you’ll get hands-on experience in an EMT practicum, followed by the mobile intensive care technician (paramedic) program. JCCC’s program is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the EMS Professions (CoAEMSP).
