JCCC CNA students learning about traction

JCCC’s Home Health Aide (HHA) program will give you the skills and information you need to care for the elderly, disabled or temporarily challenged in the comfort of their own homes.

In 21 contact hours, you’ll learn how to:

  • Help clients and their support plan nutritious meals
  • Teach clients modified ways to safely perform daily tasks
  • Provide compassionate emotional support

Classes are scheduled on weekends to give you the flexibility you need. Once you successfully complete the three-week program, you’ll take the Kansas HHA Certification exam.

You must successfully complete a reading comprehension exam before admission. Please bring copies of your Social Security card and current Kansas CNA card to your first class.
