Online Classes - Getting Started

Taking an online class? Here's what you need to know to get started.

We use Desire2Learn (D2L) as our online student portal.

You must log in and follow your professor's instructions within the first week of classes. Check your syllabus for instructor contact information and course attendance requirements.

You will need your MyJCCC username and password.

If you don't know your username or password, go to our password reset page.

Link and Activate your Stumail/Google Apps

Once you've logged in to D2L, look for the Stumail Login widget in upper right corner. (Link your JCCC Stumail account)

Check for any messages in your Stumail from both JCCC and your instructor.

Confirm your Courses at JCCC

Your courses will appear under the My Courses widget.
