Assessment
In some classes homework quizzes are given frequently and are from the homework assigned in the textbook and total 75 points for semester. In other classes homework is turned in and graded are worth a total 100 points for semester. Some classes have each unit review worth 40 points. 4 or 5 unit tests and a final Exam are given. Some classes the unit test contains both a take home test and in class test, other classes include only a Unit Test. All unit tests are worth 100 points each. A test analysis is given after most unit tests to correct the mistakes at a value of 10 points each.
Homework Policy
See the Assessment section (above). Due to fairness consideration, late work is NOT accepted.
Attendance Policy
Your absence may affect your grade because of your subsequent lack of knowledge and understanding. However, absences are NOT part of the grading formula. Makeup tests are never given after the graded tests are returned which is the next class period after the test is given. The final exam score will replace a missed test.
