Instructors have provided the following information to generally describe what to expect in their classes.

Math

Class Format

Face-to-face sections consist of a lecture along with time to work on problems individually. Homework is assigned weekly in an online format.

Resource Use

Textbooks: You may use the textbook as a reference, but I will not assign problems or reading from the book.

Calculators: Math 115 uses a scientific calculator.

Computer software: Homework is assigned in an online format. The Desmos online graphing utility is used to help illustrate certain problems, when appropriate.   

Online homework: Required.

Assessment

Homework is worth 20% of the grade, homework quizzes are worth 10%, exams are worth 50% and the final exam is 20% of the final grade.

Homework Policy

Homework will be accepted late, but completing it on time is necessary to give your best effort on homework quizzes and exams.
