If you've taken the college-wide placement exam, and the results have shown you need some help with reading, then JCCC has classes to provide that help.
Not everyone comes to college reading at a college level. The average student entering college reads between the 7th and 8th grade levels. However, most college materials are written above the 12th grade level. Some students have a hard time unlocking the complex vocabulary of textbooks and don't know how to process the information in front of them. For these challenges and more, take a reading class at JCCC. Success in reading unlocks success in your other classes.
