Begin at JCCC

Introductory classes in animation teach you important, marketable skills, including:

  • modeling
  • rigging
  • texturing
  • digital sculpting
  • character animation
  • motion graphics
  • visual effects
  • compositing

Discuss concepts such as character development with experienced professors, and create a demo reel you can use to show off your skills.

Advanced classes may use the 548-square-foot Motion Capture Studio. Sixteen cameras project infrared light onto markers on a special suit, and then those markers appear as coordinates within a powerful software program. The result is better animations in less time.

Thrilled with virtual and augmented reality and want to learn the skills that create those worlds? JCCC has the software and hardware for that, too. Create your own virtual reality projects for your portfolio.
