In JCCC’s Horticultural Sciences program, you'll learn to grow healthy food and essential plants. You'll also learn how to design, create and manage private gardens, community gardens, arboretums, botanical gardens, sustainable landscapes, golf courses and sports fields. Horticulture offers a variety of interest areas and specialties all tied to applied plant science and natural resource management. Our curriculum emphasizes sustainable best management practices including integrated pest management, that will conserve and protect our irreplaceable natural resources.
