• In the area of assessing student learning, the College has adopted an AQIP project to develop institutional level learning outcomes.  The College currently uses the general education student learning outcomes as a form of institutional learning outcomes. However, the understanding and use of learning outcomes has developed since these were first adopted. It will benefit the College to develop institutional learning outcomes that support both the general education and program level outcomes as well as align with reporting requirements of the Kansas Board of Regents (4.B.3).
  • Following the current AQIP project on institutional learning outcomes, the faculty needs to address the general education outcomes data and the lack of assessment with two of the learning outcomes. The goal will be an overall reexamination of the general education outcomes and how they are applied to the curriculum (4.B.3).
