1. Honor Roll

Each fall (including winter session courses) and spring semester, qualified students are recognized for their academic achievement by appearing on the Part-time Honor Roll, Dean’s List or President’s List. These designations are not awarded during the summer term. Advanced standing credit and transfer credit cannot be used to meet the minimum credit hour requirements. Students who complete a minimum of six credit hours and earn an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher will appear on the Part-time Honor Roll. Students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn an overall GPA of 3.5 to 3.99 will appear on the Dean's List. Students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn an overall GPA of 4.0 will appear on the President's List.
 
2. Graduation with Honors

A student who completes 30 credit hours at JCCC and has a 3.5 or higher JCCC cumulative GPA in all JCCC coursework will be graduated with honors. Only JCCC hours will be calculated in GPA for honors designation.
 
3. Honors Program

Students in the Honors Program are expected to maintain a GPA of 3.5 to remain part of the program. Specific academic standards will be determined by the Honors Committee.
