Persons shall be selected for positions at the college on the basis of bona fide occupational qualifications, and it is the objective of the college to hire the best qualified and most appropriate candidates. The determination of best qualified and most appropriate will be at college's sole discretion. Recruitment activities will be conducted for each vacancy to the extent that is practicable to assure a pool of well-qualified candidates. When appropriate, recruitment shall be on a non-local or national basis. It is the responsibility of the Office of Human Resources to coordinate and monitor personnel recruitment activities.
