When notice is required to be given under the provisions of Section 416.00, Appeal Procedure for an Employee Recommended for Demotion, Suspension without Pay or Termination for Cause, to the president of the college, it shall be sufficient if delivered in person or if mailed by certified mail, postage prepaid, to the President's Office in the college. Where notice is required to be given under the provisions of Section 416.00, Appeal Procedure of an Employee Recommended for Demotion, Suspension without Pay or Termination for Cause, to an employee, it shall be sufficient if delivered in person or if mailed by certified mail, postage prepaid, to the employee's last known address as recorded in the official personnel records of the employee.
