Campus Connections: A Network Created by and for JCCC Employees.
Making connections across campus to create an invaluable network of resources for members to meet the current needs of the JCCC Community.
2015-16 Board Members of Campus Connections
In 2012, Campus Connections of Johnson County Community College was created in an effort to include all faculty and staff. Our purpose is to encourage a network of fellowship for employees of the college.
We invite you to join us for networking opportunities with your peers of faculty and staff across our campus.
Your membership provides additional opportunities for employees and retirees to share professional experience and knowledge with each other including campus and community programs, policies and procedures as well as fostering a sense of belonging and support.
Campus Connections Scholarship was created as a need-based scholarship to support students and help them achieve their educational goals. It is one of many opportunities created to help support student success and well as providing meaningful interaction amongst our faculty and staff.
Association of Kansas Community College Occupational Professionals
Many Campus Connections members are also members of the Association of Kansas Community College Occupational Professionals (AKCCOP) and attend an annual conference held at a different Kansas community college campus each year. This offers unique opportunities to network with your colleagues.
As an added benefit, AKCCOP offers grants to its members who are enrolled in a credit class and have a financial need. The grants may be used for food, child care, books or anything the recipients feel meets their needs.
For information regarding AKCCOP membership, call Carol Gard at ext. 3635.
